Coach Haynes Recap- 7th Grade Girls Basketball took on the Trojans from Atlantic last night at the High School Aux. Gym.  The game was close, with the game tied 16-16 at halftime.  The girls did a nice job of forcing turnovers with their press, capitalizing on fastbreaks, and shooting an outstanding 14 out of 17 from the freethrow line to win 36-29 to improve to 4-0 on the season.  Leading the way on offense for the Rams was Jenna H. with 19 points (11 of 13 from the line), Kate H. with 8 points, and Molly W. with 5 points (3 of 4 from the line).  Hallee L. added in 4 points and played some great defense down the stretch.  Ryley N., Delaney H., Carissa G., and Kalyn B. all contributed to a solid team win. The B-Game was another close, competitive game that saw much improved defense and ball movement on offense by the Rams.  MaKayna M. and Savannah S. each scored a field as the Rams lost a close one to Atlantic, 4-6.  The Rams are back in action on Monday against Clarinda.
