8th Grade Rams Move to 4-4

Coach Berke's Recaps vs. Red Oak and Shenandoah

 

The 8th grade boys dropped to 4-4 on the season last night with a tough loss versus a solid Red Oak basketball team.  Final score of the game was 40-26.  The Tigers played tough defense and were accurate shooters from all areas of the court.  The Rams kept it close through 2 quarters, only down by 8 at the half.  

In the second half, Red Oak pulled away, outscoring Glenwood 15-9, to secure the victory.

Leading scorer for the game was Tommy Johnson with 10 points.  Brock Sell put up 8 points, AJ Shiltz scored 6, and Collin Lincoln added a bucket for 2.

The Rams play host to Clarinda next Tuesday afternoon, and travel to Creston on Thursday.

 

The 8th grade boys’ basketball team improved to 4-3 last night with a win over the Shenandoah Mustangs.  Final score of the game was 51-14.

Ten players scored for Glenwood, with the high scorer being Collin Lincoln who had 11 points!  Other scorers are as follows:  Brock Sell had 9, Nolan Little had 7, Tommy Johnson had 6, AJ Shiltz had 5, Caleb Dressel had 4, Carter Kirsch had 3, Jade Nanfito, Jayme Fritts, and Josh Hardcastle all three had 2 points.

The Rams take on the Red Oak Tigers at the Middle School today at 4:15.
