Coach Berke's Recap: The 8th grade boys basketball team took their 4-5 record on the road to Creston last evening to take on the Panthers in a game that was slow to get going.  The Rams were plagued in the first quarter with turnovers, missed shots, and lackluster defense.  Fortunately, the same was true for Creston as the first quarter saw only 6 points scored in total for both teams, and by halftime the score was a fairly unimpressive 11-6 in favor of the Rams.

After halftime, things started to improve in favor of Glenwood, and by the final buzzer, the Rams held on and won the game 31-16, improving their overall record to 5-5 on the season.

Three players held top-scoring honors.  AJ Shiltz, Tommy Johnson, and Brock Sell all three scored 7 points for the night.  Jade Nanfito came off the bench and added 4 much-needed points, and Nolan Little, Grant VonEssen, and Collin Lincoln rounded out the scoring with 2 points each.

The Rams next game is on the road next Tuesday, as they travel to Red Oak to take on the Tigers.
