Game 1 - Glenwood lost 0-1 to ADM.

Shots on Goal - 2

Rileigh Spahn played keeper and had 9 saves.

An ADM player had a breakaway in the first half.  Rileigh went the right way but slipped and the ball went right under her arms.

Game 2 - Glenwood lost 1-2 to Grinnell.

Shots - 4

Shots on Goal - 2

Rileigh Spahn played keeper and had 10 saves.

Goals - Mia McCorkle scored on a header from a corner, Nikki Schuppan assist

Grinnell scored their first goal off of a corner in the first half.  Our defender, Dani Anderson tried heading the ball out but it went in the goal instead (own goal).  If she wouldn't have tried to head it they would have scored anyways.  Their second goal also came off of a corner kick in the first half.  Players thought it did not cross the line so they kept playing.  The AR said it crossed the line and counted it as a goal.  We were able to score in the second half on a corner kick.  Nikki Schuppan took the corner and Mia McCorkle headed it in.

Game 3 - Glenwood beat Bondurrant 1-0.

Shots - 22

Shots on Goal - 12

Rileigh Soahn played keeper and had 3 saves.

Goals - 57th minute - Mia McCorkle scored off of a cross, Katelyn Malcom assist

The game was scoreless after a half.  In the second half, we were able to score.  Mia McCorkle received a cross from Katelyn Malcom and was able to score.

I was happy the girls played all three games close.  We made some adjustments for the second half of Grinnell and for the third game against Bondurrant.  We adjusted our formation and that helped us to be more offensive which in turn helped us find a way to score.  I am proud that the girls were able to get a win this weekend.  I was also happy to see that all of the games were winnable and it was good competition for the girls.
