Roping up the Phillies

Congrats to the 8th grade volleyball girls for having success in Shen. Oct. 11.  The A team came out and easily handled the Phillies with scores of: 25-5, 25-8, 15-6.  Once again, a strong serving percentage of 93% was recorded.  Grace B. had a big night behind the  line with 14 of 14 serving along with Elle S. and Kelly E. both with 12 of 12. Morgan S. and Kelly E. each had 2 blocks. Bree S., Kalainee T. and Kelly E. all had blocks.  The girls all combined to have 36 hits on the night with 6 kills.  Avery B. as libero made some amazing passes in the back row, along with 3 outstanding saves.  In game 3, Marissa A. came in to play libero, and did a solid job in the back row.  Erin S. had 2 hits in game three from the left side.  All 3 setters combined for over 30 sets on the night.  

The B team came out and won 2 in a row for the match with scores of: 25-15, 25-11, and fell in game 3  7-15.  The team struggled from the serving line and that made game three a tough one to fall to.  Having the best night serving was Sophie B. with 15 of 17 and 4 aces, and Tori H. with 9 of 10 and 2 Aces, who had her best game of the season with 2 kills as well.  Marissa A. played good defense as Libero and Camryn Y. and Delaney M. played some of their best games in the setting position.  The made some outstanding saves and played great offense at the net.  The C team wrapped up their season with scores of 15-25, 25-17, and 5-15 falling in their last match, but winning game 2.  Vivienne P. was 100% from the serving line, along with Kaylin G., Cadyn Y, and Ariel H.  Playing good defense and passing well were:  Darrian H., Grace M., Amanda K. and playing their best games yet were Mackenzie W. and Maddie D.
