Coach Joyner's recaps after defeating Harlan and Red Oak:

The Rams hosted the Harlan Cyclones at the Glenwood Golf course Tuesday night with the Rams earning their 20th consecutive dual match victory 155-169. Jay Swanson (+2, 37) from Harlan defeated Ryan Leath on a cardback for medalist honors.

Really happy with our effort today. We made a couple of mistakes but the attitude was positive the whole night. We're really looking forward to some nicer weather and some days where we can practice on what we need to work on. Really happy for Ryan and Nick to bounce back and post really solid scores and for Colton to keep up his great play.

Our JV was dang close to beating Harlan's varsity. Cooper Talich had a great 39 on the night and Kris Yakes is being really consistent with a 40.

On to Nebraska City on Thursday afternoon.

The Rams took on the Red Oak Tigers in boy's golf action on a sunny, yet chilly afternoon. Glenwood won the match 158 - 215 with Colton Book shooting an even par 35 to earn medalist honors and Eli Bales shooting 39 for a runner-up nod. There were some really good things on the course today. I think that not having practice is catching up with us. We have to power through the tough holes and keep on fighting to shoot well. We are mentally tougher this year than in years past and I'm sure the guys will find a way to learn from tonight and come back tomorrow stronger than ever.

This is the Glenwood Boys' 19th straight dual meet victory.

Glenwood JV was led by Dax Lappala's  impressive 39 and Kris Yakes' 43.

Glenwood Reserves shot a 203.
