What a night for Ram Volleyball! The 16-14 Glenwood Rams hosted the 23-11 ADM Tigers in the second round of regional play. ADM defeated Boone last week 3-0 and advanced to take on the Rams tonight. The Rams played outstanding and defeated ADM 3-2 tonight and advanced to the Volleyball Regional Final.

The match started off with ADM taking a 20-15 lead in the first set. Glenwood didn’t panic and would come back to win the first set 25-23 over the Tigers. ADM would bounce back and take the second set 25-18 to even up the match at one set a piece. The Rams would play great volleyball in the third set but the Tigers of ADM would fight back late to win 25-22 after seven straight points.

Despite losing a lead in the third set, Glenwood played lights out in their 25-14 fourth set win to send the match to a fifth and final set. ADM would jump out to an early 11-7 lead in the fifth set. The Rams did not back down and ended the set on a 8-1 run to win 15-12 over the Tigers.

Our Barrett Auto Player of the Game went to Freshman Elle Scarborough who lead the Rams in kills with twenty.

With Glenwood’s 3-2 win over ADM, the Rams will face Sergeant Bluff-Luton Monday in the Volleyball Regional Final. This marks the first time in Glenwood’s history for a team to reach the Volleyball Regional Final.

Congrats to all the coaches and players!

GO RAMS!!!
