Glenwood traveled to Red Oak tonight for their last game before heading into Christmas break. The Rams started off with a 5-2 lead over the Tigers and then the fire alarm was set off sending players and fans off the court. The all clear sign was given and the Rams would play their most complete game of the season defeating Red Oak 89-42.

Senior forward Andrew Blum got the Rams off to a hot start scoring ten quick points. The Rams would pour on twenty-three points in the first quarter to go up 23-7 after one. Great defense and balanced scoring by Glenwood gave the Rams a 48-14 lead heading into halftime. Andrew Blum lead all the Rams at halftime with twelve points despite turning his ankle while blocking a Tiger’s shot. Senior Nate Mohr scored ten points in the first half to go along with Junior Christian Stavislav’s nine.

Glenwood started the second half just like the first behind a Nate Mohr three pointer and some easy fast break baskets by Sophomore Zach Carr. The Rams would lead 70-29 heading into the fourth quarter.

The fourth quarter started with Glenwood’s reserves and the baskets would continue to pour in. Freshman Ryan Blum scored eleven in the fourth quarter to help seal the 89-42 win over the Tigers. Twelve Rams would score tonight against the Tigers.
