Friday night the Rams got their first win of the season. After a slow first quarter the Rams offense stepped up and defeated the Panthers 62-48.

Creston lead the Rams 15-9 after the first quarter. The game went back and forth in the early going until Glenwood caught fire on offense. Points off turnovers in the second quarter gave Glenwood the lead 26-17 at halftime. The Rams would only give up two points to the Panthers in quarter number two. Halftime didn’t cool off the Rams as they scored twenty-two points in the third to extend their lead. A balanced scoring attack helped the Rams defeat Creston. Junior Brooklyn Taylor was the Player of the Game. Taylor was the leading scorer with fifteen points. Elle Scarborough, Brielle Smith, and Joslyn Lewis all scored ten points a piece. The win gives Glenwood a 1-2 record on the season as the Rams will travel to 3-0 Lewis Central tomorrow.
