Girls Track Crowned Champs at LC Co-Ed Boys Get 3rd

Girls and Boys track traveled to Council Bluffs for the Lewis Central Co-Ed Track Invite. The girls finished first place with 168 points. Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln finished second with 109. The boys finished third place with 77 points. Lewis Central won the meet with 113 and Atlantic finished second with 101.5.

Olivia Scarborough and Katelyn Wilwerding with first and second in the 100m hurdles. Miranda Ruth finished first place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.18. The 4x800 relay team of Springer, Wilwerding, Hardcaastle, and Jackson would finish first place with a time of 10:13.14. Glenwood's 4x100 Shuttle Hurdle team of Scarborough, Ruth, Smith, and Dean would finish first place with a time of 1:09.57. Linnaea Konfrst would finish first place in both the shot put and discus. In shot put Konfrst tossed 40-02.50 and in discus Konfrst recorded a throw of 129-08.50.

 

Carter Von Essen finished third place in the 400m with a time of 51.15. Andrew Blum finished seventh place in the 800m with a time of 2:08.39. Parson Covington and William Ingels finished 4th and 5th in the 3200m. Carter Von Essen would finish 5th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.36. Glenwood's 4x400 relay team of Kennedy, Springer, Petersen, and Von Essen would finish first place with a time of 3:26.82. Kolten Wilwerding would finish fourth place in long jump with a jump of 19-00.00. Nate Serrano finished sixth in shot put with a toss of 44-07.50. Kyle Griffin finished seventh place with a throw of 121-05.
