District Play Game One Preview
The 16-5 Glenwood Rams will tip-off tonight against the 7-14 Denison Monarchs. Gametime is scheduled for 8pm and will be after the conclusion of Creston vs. Carroll. Glenwood is currently riding a five game win streak and are 11-1 in their last twelve games. The Rams are peaking at the right time but the new season begins tonight. Time to throw out all records as Glenwood looks towards their matchup against the Monarchs. Denison has lost four straight games with three of those losses coming on the road against tough opponents (at Kuemper, at Glenwood, at Atlantic. The Monarchs played tough in their loss last week at Atlantic. Denison lost 66-60 against the Trojans.

Tonight Glenwood should start off fast playing in their home gym. Look for the Rams to pressure the Monarchs early and often to try and cause turnovers for easy buckets. Glenwood can’t overlook these Monarchs if they want to get passed their first round matchup. I expect Glenwood to play their A game tonight and move on to the next round.
Final Score Prediction Glenwood 72 Denison 57.
*Remember tonight admission will be $6, booster club season/student passes will not be accepted.
Good luck Glenwood! GO RAMS!
