The Rams are now 9-0 on the season after defeating Kuemper 57-55 on Friday. Glenwood’s Senior guard Nate Mohr lead the way for Glenwood by scoring 23 points. Mohr would score 17 of his 23 in the first half to give the Rams a 29-22 lead at halftime. Freshman Ryan Blum stepped up big for the Rams in the second half. Blum would score all nine of his points in the second half. The biggest basket for the Freshman came on Glenwood’s last possession where he would make the game winning basket on a drive to the basket. Despite not having Andrew Blum the Rams stepped up and rebounded well. Glenwood grabbed 31 rebounds with 13 coming on the offensive side of the ball.

Defense was once again the big reason Glenwood was able to defeat the 10th ranked team in class 2A. The Rams struggled on offense in Carroll and shot 35% from the field. Glenwood held the Knights to 37% from the floor and kept the Knights 13 points under their scoring average.
