Ram Baseball Drops Two Out Of Last Three

Glenwood 9 Harlan 10


Thursday Glenwood traveled to Harlan for a doubleheader. The second game was canceled due to weather while game one went to the Cyclones 10-9. Glenwood started off fast with a three run first inning before Harlan scored nine of their ten runs in the second, third and fourth innings. Senior Cole Loeffelbein hit another homerun while driving in two runs. Loeffelbein went 3-4 from the plate. Sophomore Ethan Fisher scored three runs to lead all Rams.

Glenwood 2 St. Albert 5


St. Albert’s Senior Brandon Behrens was impressive on the mound by only giving up one run on two hits after five innings. Glenwood scored their two runs on four hits. Mavrick Decker, Ethan Fisher, AJ Slaughter and Dax Lappala recorded the hits for Glenwood. Andrew Holiday and Michael Radford scored the two runs.

Glenwood 2 Clear Lake 0


Senior Jake King recorded the win against Clear Lake. King pitched four innings and didn’t give up a hit. The Rams also pitched Michael Radford and Cole Loeffelbein. Glenwood’s pitchers gave up only one hit on 116 pitches while striking out ten batters for Clear Lake. Dax Lappala and Cooper Silvius scored for the Rams. Ethan Fisher was great from the plate going 2-3 with the team's only RBI.
