Coach Joyner's recap on the Ram victory at Plattsmouth!

"The Glenwood Boy's Golf team traveled to Bay Hill Golf Club in Plattsmouth, NE to take on the Plattsmouth Blue Devils and the Nebraska City Pioneers. Since were playing in Nebraska, we had 5 guys in our Varsity and JV lineup and scored 4."

"Glenwood varsity shot a 170 to lead the group. Glenwood JV carded the 2nd lowest 9 hole round with a 196. Plattsmouth had a 216 and Nebraska City finished with a 218."

"Overall, it was a very productive day. I thought the guys competed well and tried different things on a course they didn't know. Our scores were a little higher than we had wanted but, we're looking for improvement and learning experiences on tough courses. So I count today as a double win in that regard. Kobe led us again with a +3 39 and Ryan had a +4 40 to finish runner-up. I can't say too much about Kobe as a great senior leader. He is showing these young guys how the fun the game of golf can be."

"We're looking forward to being back at home for 3 out of our next 4 matches with Red Oak tomorrow, Denison Tourney on Saturday, then back home for Shenandoah on Tuesday and St. Albert on Thursday."

"As a little note here at the end: After some research and getting a hold of past teams, it sounds as though 140 is the Glenwood team record on our home course. The 144 we shot on Tuesday is looking good for 2nd all time. Great stuff for our kids! (We had 1 SR, 2 SO, and 3 FR in our varsity lineup that night.)" - Coach Joyner
