Coach Benson’s Recap:

We controlled the game early on and had lots of chances on goal.  We were able to capitalize in the 10th minute off a goal from Mia McCorkle.  We continued to control the first half with Mia McCorkle putting in 2 more goals and Kelly Embray scoring one before half.

We came out just as strong in the second half getting goals from many different players.  Avery Blasdel had 2 goals in the second half, while Kari Schuppan, Nikki Schuppan, Kendall Bardsley, and Lillian Becker each added another as well.

I was very happy with the way the girls played tonight.  We were down some starters due to dual sport athletes and injuries, but many girls were able to step up and do well for the team!  They played great and it was nice to come out on top after losing the last 4 to teams ranked higher than us.
