Ram Softball Goes 2-1 at Atlantic

This weekend the girls softball team traveled to Atlantic and picked up two wins. The girls lost to Panoroma and then defeated Audobon and Exira. In the first game the girls lost to Panorama 1-7. A huge third inning for Panorama (5 runs) helped defeat the Rams. Glenwood got hits from Dean, Ingoldsby, Bermann, and Taylor.

The second game of the day Glenwood defeated Audubon 8-1. The Rams scored one run in both the first and second innings before scoring three runs in both the fifth and sixth. Molly Dean and Myranda Starner both scored two runs. Lyndie VanNess, Emma Ringsdorf, Elisa Mulkerrin, and Brielle Smith all scored one run.  Bailey Rumery was the winning pitcher for the Rams. Rumery pitched six innings and only gave up one run.

Glenwood's 13 runs helped defeat Exira-EHK 13-10. The Rams would score one in the first, seven in the second, three in the fourth, and two in the fifth. Myranda Starner and Lyndie VanNess both had three hits. Starner would score three runs while Dean, VanNess, Taylor, and Mulkerrin would score two each. The winning pitcher was Sydney Bermann.

Congratulations to both Myranda Starner and Molly Dean on making the All-Tournament Team.
