Ram Softball Scores 54 Runs in Three Games

What a start by the Glenwood Softball team! The girls are off to a fast start and are currently 3-0. The Rams have picked up wins against Creston and St. Albert (two).

 

Glenwood traveled to Creston on the 23rd and defeated the Panthers 19-1. Glenwood’s Sydney Bermann got the win for Glenwood. Bermann pitched all seven innings and only gave up one run off four hits. Bermann would earn eleven strikeouts on the night. Senior catcher Sara Ingoldsby scored four runs after going six for six at the plate. Ingoldsby also had three RBI’s. Glenwood scored eleven of their nineteen runs in the seventh inning.

 

On May 25th, Glenwood traveled to St. Albert for a double header. Glenwood scored nineteen runs in game one to win 19-5 over the Saintes. In the second game the Rams bats stayed hot as they won 16-0 over the Saintes.

 

Tonight the Rams will host Council Bluffs, Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln will bring a record of 2-1 on the season. A.L. has wins over St. Albert (11-2) and Denison (10-9) while losing to Sioux City, Bishop Heelan (3-16).
