Ram Tennis Shuts Out Red Oak

Friday the boys tennis team faced Red Oak for a conference and district match-up. The Rams looked strong defeating the Tigers 9-0. Glenwood is now 7-0 on the season and 5-0 in the conference.  Junior Sam Lauritsen who plays number one for Glenwood had a strong comeback in singles. Lauritsen was up 5-1 on Weston Rolenc of Red Oak and then the match flipped and Lauritsen ended up being down 9-6. Sam played hard and fought back to eventually win the match over Rolenc 11-10 after winning in the tie-break.

Aaron Bertini and Adam Konfrst looked the best in their doubles match. The two are undefeated on the season in singles and doubles and continued their streak on Friday by winning 10-1.
