In front of a great atmosphere in Glenwood, the Rams defeated Lewis Central 70-50. Senior Nate Mohr picked up two early fouls in the first quarter but the Rams didn’t slow down. Junior Christian Stanislav and Senior Andrew Blum took over the first half for the Rams. Blum and Stanislav had twenty-four of the twenty-nine first half points for Glenwood. 29-20 Glenwood lead Lewis Central at halftime thanks to great defense and effort by all the Rams.

The Rams would score seventeen points in the third quarter to maintain their nine point lead 46-37 heading into the fourth. Lewis Central did cut Glenwood’s lead down to four points in the third quarter 36-32 before a Mohr three pointer and two quick buckets by Andrew Blum. In the fourth quarter Glenwood had great ball movement and the three pointers started raining. Senior Nate Kennedy hit a couple big three pointers in front of Glenwood’s student section to help extend the lead over the Titans.

Andrew Blum was awarded the Player of the Game. Blum lead all scorers with seventeen points and brought in twelve rebounds for the Rams. Junior Christian Stanislav was the second leading scorer with fifteen points. This win makes the Rams 3-0 on the season and the third straight game scoring over seventy points.

Next up for the Rams will be St. Alberts on Saturday in Glenwood. The Falcons are 2-0 on the season after defeating Atlantic 57-42 and Carroll Kuemper 66-63. (They will also play Red Oak Friday before playing Glenwood)

Good game boys, GO RAMS!
