Rams Run Over Winterset

Friday night the Glenwood Rams bounced back from their loss and defeated Winterset 21-2. Glenwood is now 6-2 on the season and 4-2 in the district. Cole Loeffelbein was the player of the game with two touchdowns and rushed for 109 yards on 27 carries. Glenwood's defense caused three fumbles with Nate Nebel running one back for a 18 yard touchdown. Isaac Bales and Jon Stavas recovered the other two fumbles. Glenwood will travel to ADM on Friday for their last regular season game.

 

Third place is the highest finish in the district now for Glenwood. Creston and Carroll are both 6-0 in the district and face each other this Friday. The winner will be crowned champion of district 7 and the loser will get second but both will receive automatic bids to the playoffs. If Glenwood wins Friday they will be 5-2 in the district and 7-2 overall.
