Glenwood Boys Tennis is now 7-0 this season after defeating Shenandoah 9-0. Alex Chekal, Sam Lauritsen and Adam Konfrst continued their undefeated streaks in singles. Senior Sam Lauritsen had an unbelievable comeback after being down 9-6, Sam rallied off five straight games to defeat Alex Goodell 11-9. Kris Mintle, Carter Benson and Josh Ruth won 10-4, 10-3, 10-3 at the four, five and six positions for Glenwood.

I have been impressed by the progress of this team so far. The entire team comes to practice everyday ready to work. The boys are coachable and they have great team chemistry. Glenwood has three regular season meets remaining (Clarinda, St. Albert and Abraham Lincoln) before conference and district play begins.
