Rams Take the Lady Tiger Relays by 52 Team Points

Glenwood girls track won the Lady Tiger Relays last night by 52 team points. The Rams scored 174 team points on the night. Creston finished second with 122 while Shenandoah placed third with 121.

 

Freshman Elle Scarborough won the 100m dash with a time of 12.79. Sade Allgood finished third in the 100m with a time of 13.07. Freshman Lauren Becker finished second in the 400m dash with a time of 1:04.23 and Becker would also take the high jump with a jump of 5’. Danielle Hardcastle finished tied for second in the high jump with Jessica Jackson of Shenandoah. Abby McIntyre won the 800m for the Rams with a time of 2:32.59. Freshman Emma Hughes won the 1500m (5:32.73) and the 300m (11:07.11). Way to go Emma, very impressive!

 

Elle Scarborough 111-08, Sydney Biermann 100-06 and Jenna Howard 96-02 finished third, fourth and fifth in the discus. Logan Hughes of Shenandoah finished first with a throw of 118-02. Sydney Biermann finished second in the shot put with a toss of 37-09.00.

 

Glenwood won three relays on the night. The Rams won the 4x100 with a time of 52.32, the 4x200 with a time of 1:51.81 and the 4x800 with a time of 10:42.19.
