Denison Lady Monarchs

Record 15-5

Won 7 out of the last 8 games

7-2 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference

Alex Mohr, Jacque Ingram, and Jazlyn Beeck all average over ten points a game for the Monarchs. Ingram and Beeck both have over one hundred rebounds on the season with Ingram leading the team with 145. Ingram also leads the team in blocks with seventeen.  Denison beat Glenwood back on January nineteenth 51-36. Junior Caytlin Lee was the leading scorer with sixteen points. Denison shot 46% from the floor against Glenwood. Twenty one of Denison's fifty one points came from the free throw line. Tonight the Glenwood Rams will once again face a tough opponent. The Rams must cut down on turnovers again to have a chance to upset the Lady Monarchs.

Good luck ladies! Come support Bailey Baker on Senior Night! GO RAMS

Denison Monarchs

Record 7-12

While Denison's record might not look good on paper, I think they can be a sleeper at times. They defeated St. Albert this year who just picked up a win against Lewis Central. Glenwood defeated Denison on the road back in January 70-56. The Monarch's are a well balanced scoring team. Seven Monarch's score between six and ten points a game. Chris Siemer and Jake Farley are two good players for Denison. Glenwood needs to cause turnovers on defense tonight. Denison is third in the Hawkeye Ten in turnovers but they are also third in steals. The Rams will need to protect the ball on offense as well. If Glenwood can create turnovers early and knock down shots from the outside, I see Glenwood getting the win tonight.

Good luck Glenwood, Go Rams!
