Last night the girls soccer team was defeated for the first time on the season. Thomas Jefferson defeated Glenwood by a score of 2-1. T.J. scored their first goal on a breakaway 3:45 into the game. The second goal scored was off a chip by a Yellow Jacket during the twenty-four minute mark.

Avery Blasdel scored Glenwood’s goal at 77:20 in the game on a terrific goal that was shot about thirty yards out according to Coach Benson.

“I was very proud of how the girls played.  They never gave up and continued to push the entire game.  We will continue to work and improve to get better every day!” said Coach Benson
