Despite losing twice this season to the Cyclones, the Rams played with confidence from the tip-off. Glenwood jumped out to a 20-9 lead over Harlan after the first quarter. Harlan would win the second quarter (14-12) but found themselves down at halftime 32-23 against Glenwood.

Consistency is Key in Glenwood Basketball Programs Growth

Kevin Tucker's picture

I took time recently to look at all the records from the 1913-14 season all the way to the current 2017-18 season. Lack of consistency is what stood out the most. From 1913-14 to 2006-07 Glenwood has only had 25 seasons that finished .500 or above. That’s not very good. From the 1960-61 season to 2005-06 season, Glenwood only had two seasons that were above .500.

Glenwood Looks to End Regular Season with Win Over Rival

Kevin Tucker's picture

Tonight the 18-2 Hawkeye Ten Conference Champion Glenwood Rams will travel to Council Bluffs to face the Lewis Central Titans. The Titans are 10-8 on the season however they have won five out of their last six games.

Lewis Central is tough at home with seven of their ten wins coming in their gym. Friday, February 2nd the Titans defeated St. Albert 61-26. The Titans proved that their defense can be great. In eight of Lewis Central’s ten wins the Titans have held their opponent under sixty points. Lewis Central will need to do that tonight to defeat the H-10 champions.
