Carr, Glenwood Defense Comes up Big in Tight Win over Kuemper

  Glenwood’s defense stood tall once again as the Rams escaped with a 14-13 victory over Class 2A opponent Kuemper in week three of the high school football season. With this win, the Rams improved to 2-1 on the season.

  In a game that the Rams were projected to win by a decent margin, Kuemper came out fighting, and never laid down until the final whistle. Glenwood Head Coach Cory Faust was proud of the way his team grinded out a tough win.

Ram Volleyball Off to Good Start, 6-3 Record in Opening Week

  Glenwood Volleyball is off to solid start to the season. After hosting a quad meet and competing in the Harlan tournament, the Rams finished the first week of their 2018 campaign with a 6-3 overall record.

  Thursday night, Glenwood hosted a quad with Tri-Center, CB Thomas Jefferson and MVAOCOU. The Rams defeated every team in two sets, opening up the year 3-0.

Rams Sneak Out Victory in Carroll Behind Strong Defense, Timely Offense

  A warm August evening played host to week one of the Iowa High School Football season. At the brand new Carroll Athletic Field, another instant classic took place between the Glenwood Rams and the Carroll Tigers. In a game that saw six total turnovers and an abundance of penalties, the Rams escaped with a 17-14 win to start the season in nail biting fashion.

  Change is the popular word to describe what the 2018 season entails for the Glenwood Rams. Changes in schedule, playoff format, district competition, lineups, coaching staff and even playbook surround the Rams this season.

  Coming off its third straight state playoff appearance, Glenwood is gearing up for another successful season on the gridiron. With seven returning starters in the senior class and loads of new talent rising to the top of the depth chart, Head Coach Cory Faust sees promise in his varsity squad.
