Cole Loeffelbein was awarded the Athlete of the Week with his performance against Harlan. Loeffelbein rushed for 265 yards on 33 carries and scored three touchdowns. Loeffelbein's longest touchdown was 57 yards!

Determined Rams Defeat the Cyclones

Tonight the Glenwood Rams marched into Harlan and defeated the Cyclones in a battle 49-41. The player of the game went to Cole Loeffelbein. Loeffelbein ran for 240 yards and scored three rushing touchdowns for the Rams. Kolten Wilwerding and Mavrick Decker hooked up for three touchdowns through the air to help balance Loeffelbein's running attack. The Rams take their 3-1 overall record and 1-1 district record back to Glenwood next Friday vs. Denison.

Glenwood @ Harlan Preview

Forty five out of the last forty six games Harlan has defeated Glenwood in football. The last time the Rams defeated Harlan was when the Rams went to the playoffs in the 90's. The Rams defeated the Cyclones on the road that season. Fast forward twenty some years and the Rams are looking to knock off Harlan for only the second time in their school history.

Former Ram Scores Second TD

Former Ram Quarterback Corey Bertini played in his second game for Mo. Western State this past weekend. Bertini was two for two in the air with his longest being a thirty yard completion. Corey also rushed for fifteen yards on three carries. One of Bertini's carries went for a touchdown from twelve yards out that capped off a four play twenty nine yard drive. Mo. Western St. is now 2-0 on the season after defeating Missouri Southern 51-14.

Rams Pick Up Huge Road Win

Last night the Rams picked up a huge win by defeating Shenandoah on the road. The Rams defeated the Fillies 3-1 which brings their conference record to 2-1. After dropping the first set, the Rams rallied off three straight set wins. Sierra Stouder had another great performance. Stouder recorded twelve kills, seven digs, and was 15-16 on serves. Abbi Decker was second in kills with ten while Paige Hays was third with seven. Sophomore Cera Gray lead the team in assists with twenty eight. The Rams are now 7-10 on the season and will travel to Denison next Tuesday.
