Tonight the boys basketball team traveled on the road to take on Thomas Jefferson. Glenwood won the game 71-53 against T.J. to pick up the win on the season opener. The Rams jumped out to an early lead and led the Yellow Jackets 17-11 after the first quarter. Early fouls by Andrew Blum gave him limited playing time in the first half but the young Rams played well and went into half leading 38-25.  Junior Nate Kennedy was the leading scorer at halftime with 12 (three 3's). A fifteen point third quarter by the Yellow Jackets cut the Ram lead to nine after three quarters of play.

Kevin Tucker's picture

Coach Berke's Recap- Tough defense and patience on offense was the key to last night’s victory in Harlan by the 8th grade boys.  In a back and forth battle, the Rams came out on top, 50-41.  Due to a situation beyond our control, there are no official scoring stats available.  All of the boys played hard and the coaching staff is very proud and excited with the victory.
