GlenwoodSports.com First Team All-Hawkeye 10 Basketball

Kevin Tucker's picture

This year I thought it would be fun to come out with my own First Team All-Hawkeye 10 Basketball. I was able to get a chance to broadcast every team in the Hawkeye Ten this season while they played Glenwood. This is NOT the official Hawkeye Ten Basketball Team, mostly for fun and to see how close I can get to the official First Team Hawkeye Ten Basketball.

Enjoy!

Trojans Win by One as Glenwood's Season Ends

Kevin Tucker's picture

Tonight Glenwood played in an atmosphere I will never forget. Both Atlantic and Glenwood fans drove to Harlan in support of their basketball teams. The bleachers were packed from top to bottom with fans that would cheer on their teams from tip-off until the final buzzer. Two Hawkeye Ten teams that were both 18-5 on the season played for the right to go onto the State Tournament in Wells Fargo. The Atlantic Trojans defeated Glenwood by one point 69-68.

New Complex Up for Vote

Little bit of a background:

Glenwood Community School District has brought forward a proposal for a new Glenwood Athletic Complex. The complex would approximately cost $5-$6 million dollars. What’s next for this complex proposal? A vote. The Glenwood Board of Directors are asking voters to approve additional funds from a PPEL or Physical Plant and Equipment Levy. A special election will take place where voters that are in the Glenwood Community School District can vote to pass a PPEL to reconstruct the current complex here in Glenwood.
