Ram Track Finished First and Third at Lewis Central Co-Ed Track Meet

Yesterday the boys and girls traveled to Council Bluffs for the Lewis Central Co-Ed Track Meet. The boys finished first place with 134.5 team points. Lewis Central finished second with 129 while Atlantic finished third with 84. The girls finished in third place with 92 team points. Sioux City East finished first with 109.

The Glenwood Girls Tennis Team defeated Red Oak 5-4 last night to remain undefeated on the season at 4-0. Ellie Osterloh looked impressive as she defeated Sarah Behrens (Senior) 8-2 in number one singles. "GREAT win for Ellie at #1 vs Behrens.  Ellie dominated the entire match starting out ahead 3 - 0. Ellie played well and had many winning shots." said Coach Ohm

"The Rams traveled to Red Oak Monday for a match against the host Tigers. Glenwood came away victorious 165-210. The JV won their match 186-294 and the Rams reserves shot a 210." said Coach Joyner

Yesterday Glenwood hosted the Ram Relays. Nine teams participated in the event. Council Bluffs, Abraham Lincoln won the meet with 124 total team points. Glenwood finished second with 121 while Harlan came in third with 120.

SB-Luton Wins CB Invitational Rams Finish Second

SB-Luton won the 2nd annual Council Bluffs Boys Invitational. Luton scored 131 total team points on the night. Glenwood finished second with 96 and the Titans of Lewis Central finished third with 93 team points.

McCorkle's Goals Defeat Harlan

Last night Glenwood Girls Soccer defeated Harlan 2-0. Glenwood scored both of their goals in the first half. Mia McCorkle scored off an assist from Nicole Schuppan at the 10:58 mark. McCorkle's second goal came at 32:44.

"We were able to score pretty early in the game on a corner. Mia McCorkle was able to deflect the ball into the goal." She scored one more time before half by lofting the ball over the goalie far post." said Coach Benson

Ram Tennis Looked Impressive Against a Tough Trojan Team

Yesterday the boys tennis team took their thirteen regular season match win streak on the road against a tough and undefeated Atlantic Trojan team. The matchup was between two 2-0 teams as Glenwood has defeated Southwest Valley 7-2 and Lewis Central 9-0 while Atlantic defeated Carroll Kuemper 6-3 and Creston 9-0.

 

Ram Golf Finished Second at Shenandoah Invite

Glenwood traveled to Shenandoah yesterday for the Shenandoah Invite. The Rams finished in second place with a 307. Atlantic won the tournament with a team score of 292. Sophomore Ryan Leath was Glenwood's top finisher with a round of 73. Leath finished fourth in the tournament overall. Colton Book (76) and Eli Bales (77) placed them both in the top 15 earning ninth and eleventh place overall.
