Saturday Glenwood Wrestling had a terrific wrestling day. The Rams wrestled tough and five wrestlers were crowned champions. Nine Rams finished in the top 5!

Rams Look to Build Off Win Over Harlan

After losing two games in a row ( Carroll Kuemper, Atlantic) the Rams bounced back and won two straight. The Rams picked up two conference road wins over St. Albert 75-62 and Harlan 63-60. Glenwood is looking to build momentum off of their two road wins and it starts tonight back at home. Tonight Glenwood will host Red Oak in a girl/boy double header. The Tigers of Red Oak come to town with a record of 2-10 overall and 0-6 in the conference.

Glenwood Splits with St. Albert

Tonight the girls hosted St. Albert and lost 50-40. After being down nine points in the first quarter, the Rams would only lose the next three quarters by one point. Brielle Smith was the leading scorer for Glenwood with 11 points.

A quick start helped the boys defeat St. Albert on the road 75-62. Nate Mohr and Christian Stanislav were the leading scorers for Glenwood with 23 and 21.

Mohr Sets Single Game 3 Point Record

Tuesday night the Rams lost to the Atlantic Trojans but a record was set. Junior guard Nate Mohr hit eight three pointers to set the new single game record for three pointers. The old record was 7.  Congratulations Nate on setting the new school record for three pointers in a game. You can see all of Nate's three pointers in the video below.

Lady Rams Defeat the Trojans Behind Schuppan's 20

Tonight the girls played consistent throughout the game and the Rams defeated Atlantic 51-37 at home. Glenwood led Atlantic at halftime 24-22 and finished with 13 and 14 point quarters to defeat the Trojans. Nikki Schuppan played a great game and was the leading scorer for Glenwood with 20 points. Daniel Hardcastle finished the game with 10.

Huge Third Quarter Lifts Atlantic Over Glenwood

Tonight Glenwood was defeated at home by the Atlantic Trojans. Atlantic now 5-1 in the conference scored 28 points in the third quarter to help them get the 68-62 win over Glenwood. Scott Leonard and Garrett Franken were big in the Trojans win. Leonard scored a team high 22 points while Franken finished with 21 after only scoring 4 points in the first half. Glenwood was led by Junior Nate Mohr who finished with 32 points. Glenwood and Atlantic both played well through out the night. Glenwood made four key stops in a row during the fourth but couldn't convert on the offensive end.
