Glenwood Wrestling Goes 1-1 on the Night

Tonight 11 wrestlers that were ranked in the state wrestled in some great team matches. Glenwood lost to Creston 24-41 and defeated Underwood 51-27. Jordan Renshaw was awarded the wrestler of the night by defeating two top ten wrestlers on the night.

Ram Wrestling Takes Fourth in Huge Council Bluffs Classic

Friday and Saturday Glenwood wrestled in the 2016 Council Bluffs Wrestling Classic. The Rams finished fourth out of thirty nine teams. Anthony Sherry finished the highest for Glenwood on Saturday. Sherry finished second only losing in the finals over Clay Lautt from Saint James Academy 7-6. Isaac Bales wrestled a great tournament as well. Bales finished third after defeating Zac Stork (State qualifier from Atlantic) 2-1. Caleb Sanders also finished third for the Rams after defeating Lee Herrington from Kearney. Caleb pinned Herrington in 5:52.

8th Grade Rams Stay Perfect

Coach Berke's recap-The boys 8th grade basketball team played host to Woodrow Wilson last evening.  The Rams once again played great pressure defense early on, taking a 20-0 lead in the first quarter.  The remainder of the game was much of the same with the Rams ending the contest with a 65-25 victory, and maintaining their perfect record for the season.

Glenwood Wrestling Picks Up Two Wins, Sherry Records 100th Win

Last night the Rams defeated Harlan and St. Albert in a triangular. The Rams defeated Harlan 46-28 and St. Albert 78-6. Anthony Sherry picked up two wins to get 100 career wins as a Ram!
