Glenwood Girls Soccer beat Denison 7-4. 

Kendall Bardsley (played 50 min) earned 8 saves and allowed 1 goal in the first half. Hayllee Sell (played 30 min) earned 5 saves and allowed 3 goals in the second half.

Girls Tennis Picked Up Two Road Wins

The girls have had a great start to their week by defeating Clarinda on Monday and St. Albert last night.

 

On Monday the girls traveled to Clarinda and defeated the Cardinals 8-1. Ellie Osterloh and Brooklyn Taylor both won close matches at the one and two spots for the Rams. Both girls won 9-7 in their singles matches against Maddie Hartley and Brooke Brown. Sophomore Ruby Crow had an impressive 8-0 win over Mihaela Fine at the number three spot.

 

Haggstrom's 37 Leads Ram Golf Over St. Albert

Yesterday the Rams won their eighth dual of the season by defeating St. Albert at Fox Run Golf Course. Glenwood scored a 159 while St. Albert finished with a 217. Senior Zach Haggstrom shot one over par (37) to be the medalist on the day. Ryan Leath finished second with a round of 39. Glenwood would also take scores from Eli Bales (41) and Nick Stavas (42).

Glenwood Golf is now 8-0 in duals and will host Clarinda on Monday. Great scores Glenwood!

Three Relays Qualify for Drake Relays

Glenwood Boys Track qualified three relay teams for the 2017 Drake Relays. The Rams qualified their 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.

Ram Golf Remains Undefeated in Duals After Win over Shenandoah

On Tuesday Ram Golf defeated Shenandoah 154 to 164. This gives Glenwood their seventh dual win of the season.  Glenwood Golf now has sixteen straight dual season wins. Ryan Leath and Colton Book were the medalist in Shenandoah. Both Leath and Book shot 37. The Rams also took scores from Zach Haggstrom (39) and Eli Bales (41). Glenwood is playing at a high level right now and they continue to post some of the best scores in the state. The Rams will be a tough out when postseason comes around!

Rams Shut Out the Mustangs

Glenwood Boys Tennis is now 7-0 this season after defeating Shenandoah 9-0. Alex Chekal, Sam Lauritsen and Adam Konfrst continued their undefeated streaks in singles. Senior Sam Lauritsen had an unbelievable comeback after being down 9-6, Sam rallied off five straight games to defeat Alex Goodell 11-9. Kris Mintle, Carter Benson and Josh Ruth won 10-4, 10-3, 10-3 at the four, five and six positions for Glenwood.
