Tonight the Glenwood Rams traveled to Storm Lake and took on the undefeated #4 ranked Tornadoes. Right from the start Glenwood controlled the game and defeated Storm Lake 44-22 in the first round of the playoffs. The Rams scored 14 points in the first quarter to take the lead 14-0 after the first quarter. The Rams would go on to score 16 in the second, 7 in the third, and 7 in the fourth. The deciding play in the fourth quarter was a pick six by Senior Corner back Mavrick Decker. Glenwood had 440 yards to Storm Lake's 195.

Final Thoughts on Glenwood @ Storm Lake

Kevin Tucker's picture

Ram Football is one day from playing in their fifth playoff appearance in school history and I couldn't be more excited for the drive to Storm Lake. This game is what all the athletes have been working for since last year's loss at Carroll. I have been impressed with the amount of off season work and dedication this football team has done. The program is in better hands when the athletes take time in the off season to work on their game and it has paid off. Glenwood is ranked tenth in the state on the latest AP Poll.
