Thomas Jefferson Wins in Close Match Over Glenwood Girls Soccer

Last night the girls soccer team was defeated for the first time on the season. Thomas Jefferson defeated Glenwood by a score of 2-1. T.J. scored their first goal on a breakaway 3:45 into the game. The second goal scored was off a chip by a Yellow Jacket during the twenty-four minute mark.

Avery Blasdel scored Glenwood’s goal at 77:20 in the game on a terrific goal that was shot about thirty yards out according to Coach Benson.

 

Ram Golf Shoots Low in Win Over the Mustangs

Coach Joyner’s Recap:

The Rams won their 24th straight dual meet with a 152 - 192 over the Mustangs of Shenandoah. Colton Book was medalist over Ryan Leath on a card back after they both shot a +2, 37. Pierce Harrington and Eli Bales fired 39s to finish our score. Kris Yakes' 40 and Nick Stavas' 46 were the varsity scores not to count.

 

#1 Ranked Ram Golfers Pick Up Wins Over Nebraska City, Plattsmouth and Lewis Central, Finished 3rd at Denison Tournament

Last Thursday the Rams traveled to Nebraska City and defeated the Pioneers and the Blue Devils. Glenwood shot a 159 to win the triangular. Nebraska City finished second with a 191 and Plattsmouth finished third with a 198. Glenwood’s Colton Book earned medalist with a 37.

 

On Friday the Rams continued on the road and defeated Lewis Central at Fox Run. The Rams scored a 151 while the Titans finished with a 168. Glenwood’s Ryan Leath was the medalist with a 35.

 

Gunderson Earned Medalist as Rams Defeated the Titans 198-237

Friday night the Rams defeated Lewis Central in girls golf 198-237. Glenwood had the two best rounds shot on the night with Kathryn Gunderson receiving the medalist with a 47 and Sophie Benson’s 50 was runner-up.

A Week Away From the Conference Tournament, Ram Tennis Looks for a Big Week

Glenwood girls and boys tennis are combined 14-0 on the season after both teams defeated Lewis Central on Friday. The girls defeated the Titans 8-1 while the boys won on the road 9-0. After fourteen matches combined what these two teams are doing is very impressive. Below is a in depth look on how each team has performed this season.

Phillips Awarded Medalist as Rams Defeat the Cyclones

Last night Glenwood Girls Golf defeated Harlan 218-224. Hannah Phillips was the medalist with her 50. On Tuesday, the girls defeated Red Oak by a score of 200-274. Ellie Brown shot the lowest score for the Rams with a 49. Glenwood is now 3-0 in duals this season!
