Titans Hand Rams First Loss

Kevin Tucker's picture

Last night the Rams lost to the Titans by a score of 77-61. The height of Lewis Central caused the Rams problems. 6'10" Kyle Arrington dominated the paint and controlled the glass through out the game. Arrington finished the game with 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds against Glenwood. Juniors Andrew Blum and Nate Mohr played well going for 25 and 22 points on the night. Andrew Blum was on fire in the second half dropping 23 of his 25 points. Mohr was consistent the entire game and dished out 6 assists to go with his 22 points.

Glenwood @ Lewis Central Preview

Kevin Tucker's picture

Tonight the 2-0 Glenwood Rams will make the quick trip to Council Bluffs and take on the 2-0 Lewis Central Titans. Lewis Central has defeated Denison 68-41 and Red Oak 58-22 this season. Lewis Central has four straight home games to open the season and it should help the Titans in this rival match up. Both teams are coming off wins on Friday and have short turn arounds. Tonight the game will count towards their conference records. (Yes, not every game Glenwood plays this season will count towards their conference record even if they are playing a conference opponent.)
