Glenwood Girls Golf Defeated Atlantic For First Time in History

Yesterday the Glenwood girls golf program hosted Atlantic for their home opener. The Rams defeated the Trojans by tie-breaker after both teams shot 215. Glenwood’s victory over Atlantic was the first in school history! Way to go girls, keep up the hard work.

Glenwood Girls Golf Finished 4th at Hawkeye Ten Tournament

Yesterday the girls golf team shot a 408 to tie their second best all-time team score at the Hawkeye Ten Golf Tournament. The Rams finished in fourth place tied with Creston. Glenwood's fourth place finish also tied for Glenwood's second highest finish by a Ram team. Congratulations!

Haggstrom's 37 Leads Ram Golf Over St. Albert

Yesterday the Rams won their eighth dual of the season by defeating St. Albert at Fox Run Golf Course. Glenwood scored a 159 while St. Albert finished with a 217. Senior Zach Haggstrom shot one over par (37) to be the medalist on the day. Ryan Leath finished second with a round of 39. Glenwood would also take scores from Eli Bales (41) and Nick Stavas (42).

Glenwood Golf is now 8-0 in duals and will host Clarinda on Monday. Great scores Glenwood!

Ram Golf Remains Undefeated in Duals After Win over Shenandoah

On Tuesday Ram Golf defeated Shenandoah 154 to 164. This gives Glenwood their seventh dual win of the season.  Glenwood Golf now has sixteen straight dual season wins. Ryan Leath and Colton Book were the medalist in Shenandoah. Both Leath and Book shot 37. The Rams also took scores from Zach Haggstrom (39) and Eli Bales (41). Glenwood is playing at a high level right now and they continue to post some of the best scores in the state. The Rams will be a tough out when postseason comes around!

Ram Golf Wins Triangular

Yesterday the Ram Golf Team hosted a triangular tournament with Plattsmouth and Nebraska City. Glenwood won the triangular with a score of 154. Plattsmouth got second with 198 and Nebraska City finished third with 191.

Girls Golf Finished Second at Heartland Christian Golf Invite

Yesterday the girls golf team traveled to Council Bluffs and played in the 2017 Heartland Christian Golf Invite. Glenwood played well and finished second. Glenwood scored a 407 (18 holes) and was only two shots back from the first place team (Boyer Valley).

Glenwood's Gerret Reich was the Heartland Christian Christian Tournament Champion with a round of 89. Brittnee White and Allie Hundt tied for fifth place with rounds of 103.

Glenwood set three records on the day.

1. Garret Reich set a new individual record for the back nine with a round of 41.
