Coach Joyner's recap on the boys win over Lewis Central

The Glenwood Boy's Varsity was victorious over the Lewis Central Titans 159-189 on a blustery, cold April day. The conditions were less than ideal for playing good golf, but we're excited to get back out there and competing. We didn't hit our goal for the day, but saw some great individual performances. Colton Book's 37 earned him medalist honors with Kris Yakes edging out Pierce Harrington for medalist runner-up with 40s.

Coach Joyner's recap-

Is there a better way to end a career than at a state tournament? Kobe has meant a great deal to Glenwood golf the past 4 years and I thank him for his contributions.

On Thursday, Kobe struggled to get off the tee and it seemed like he hit every single tree on the course. I'm really proud of the way he fought through the day. He played really well around the green, but needed 1 putts for pars only hitting 3 greens all day. He finished the day +10, 82 in a tie for 25th.
